Plowboys BBQ is the Kansas City brand built on competition barbecue. Todd Johns and his brother-in-law Randy Hinck started the Pork Pullin' Plowboys team in 2001, and Todd went on to win Grand Champion at the American Royal Invitational before opening Plowboys restaurants in Blue Springs and Kansas City.

What Plowboys is good for

How to use Yardbird Rub

Pat chicken dry and give it a thin coat of oil. Season all over with Yardbird, rest 20 to 30 minutes, then smoke at 120 to 135°C or roast hotter for crisper skin. Pull breast meat at 65°C and thighs higher, around 80°C, for the best texture. If you're saucing, brush KC Crossroads on in the last 10 to 15 minutes.
