FAQs

Which Traeger should I buy?

Start with the Woodridge or Woodridge Pro if you're new to pellets. Go the Ironwood if you want a touchscreen, dual-wall construction and Super Smoke. Choose the Timberline for a fully insulated outdoor-kitchen grill.

What's the difference between Ironwood and Timberline?

Both run 74–260°C with WiFIRE and Super Smoke. The Ironwood is dual-wall; the Timberline is fully insulated with three tiers of stainless grates and can be built in.

What is Super Smoke mode?

A Traeger setting that boosts smoke output at lower temperatures for more wood-fired flavour. It's on the Woodridge Pro, Ironwood and Timberline.

What is WiFIRE?

Traeger's Wi-Fi control. Use the Traeger App to set and monitor your grill temperature from anywhere.

How hot does a Traeger get?

Traeger Australia lists the Ironwood and Timberline at 74–260°C, and the Pro Series at up to 260°C. Hot enough to sear and bake pizza, low enough to smoke.

Can you sear on a pellet grill?

Yes, at the top of the range. For a harder sear add a ModiFIRE cast iron griddle, or reverse-sear: smoke low, then finish hot.

What pellets should I use?

Traeger pellets are made for Traeger grills. Our range includes seven Traeger flavours: Signature Blend, Hickory, Apple, Cherry, Mesquite, Pecan and Oak & Whiskey. Keep them dry and sealed.

Can I use other brands' pellets?

Ask us first. Check Traeger's warranty terms before you switch, and always store pellets dry so they don't swell and jam the auger.

Can a Timberline be built in?

Yes. Traeger makes outdoor kitchen trim kits and built-in covers for the Timberline and Timberline XL.

Are you a Traeger dealer?

Yes. The Que Club is a Traeger Platinum Dealer in Brunswick.

Do you deliver Traegers across Australia?

Yes. Pellet grills are bulky items, so a bulky delivery charge applies. Or pick up from our Brunswick store.
