Collection: BBQ Pellets

Pellets are the fuel and the flavour in a pellet grill, so it pays to pick the right wood. The range covers seven Traeger flavours: Signature Blend, Hickory, Apple, Cherry, Mesquite, Pecan and Oak & Whiskey Blend, plus Smokin' BBQ Pellets in Southern Hardwoods and Wine Barrel Oak.

Stronger woods like hickory and mesquite suit beef and brisket. Fruitwoods like apple and cherry are milder and sweeter, great with pork, chicken and fish. Signature Blend is the all-rounder if you only want one bag.

Keep pellets dry, sealed and off the ground: damp pellets swell and can jam the auger. Pick up in Brunswick with click & collect, and grab a Traeger StayDry bin while you're here.

Which pellets for which meat?

  • Beef and brisket: Hickory, Mesquite or Oak & Whiskey Blend.
  • Pork and ribs: Hickory, Apple or Cherry.
  • Chicken and turkey: Apple, Cherry or Pecan.
  • Fish and veg: Apple or Cherry.
  • Not sure? Signature Blend suits almost everything.

Storing pellets

Store bags sealed, off the floor and out of the weather. If pellets crumble or smell musty, don't burn them. Empty the hopper if the grill won't be used for a while.
