GrillGrate makes interlocking panels of hard-anodised aluminium, made in the USA, that sit on top of or replace your grill's cooking grate. Heat runs up the raised rails into the food for big, even sear marks, while fat drips into the valleys and sizzles back up as flavour instead of flaring. Flip a panel and the flat side is a griddle. They won't rust, and they turn a pellet grill into a proper searing machine.

GrillGrates: steakhouse sear marks on the grill you already own

A GrillGrate is a set of interlocking panels made from hard-anodised aluminium that sits on (or replaces) your grill's grate. Heat travels up the raised rails into the food, so you get big, even sear marks; fat drips into the valleys and sizzles back up as smoke instead of flaring. Flip a panel over and the flat side becomes a griddle.

They're made in the USA, won't rust, and turn a pellet grill into a proper searing machine.

Which set fits my grill?

  • Weber 57cm kettle: the Weber Kettle Set 22"/57cm.
  • Weber Go-Anywhere: the Go-Anywhere Set.
  • Kamado or round kettle: measure your cooking grate's diameter, then pick the 24" or 14.5" Kamado & Kettle Set.
  • PK Grills: sets for the PK300/Original, PK360, PKGO and PKAR Classic.
  • Primo Oval XL: the 4-panel Primo X-Large set.
  • Pellet or gas grill: measure the grate front to back, then pick a 3-panel set in 15, 16.25, 17.375, 18.5 or 19.25".
