Do both Daytrip® Lunch Boxes feature the same insulation technology?
Yep, both the 3L and 5L are packed with our proprietary Coldcell™ Flex Insulation.
What YETI® Products are compatible with the Daytrip® 3L and 5L Lunch Boxes?
The 3L Lunch Box is most compatible with the small and medium YETI® Ice Sheet, medium Food Storage, small Food Storage, and Daytrip® Shoulder Strap. The 5L Lunch Box is most compatible with the large YETI® Ice Sheet, large Food Storage, and Daytrip® Shoulder Strap. Smaller sizes of each accessory can fit depending on your packing needs.
Each lunch box can also be stored in our bags, like the Camino®, Ranchero® and Crossroads®, or the LoadOut® GoBox 30 and 60.
How many cans can I fit inside the Daytrip® 3L and 5L Lunch Boxes?
The 3L Lunch Box can fit 4 12 oz. cans while the 5L lunch box can fit 10 12 oz. cans.
What sizes of the YETI® Ice Sheet are recommended for the Daytrip® 3L and 5L Lunch Boxes?
For the 3L Lunch Box, we recommend using one small or medium YETI® Ice Sheet. For the 5L Lunch Box, we recommend using one large YETI® Ice Sheet. Smaller sizes of each accessory can fit depending on your packing needs.
Will the Daytrip® Lunch Boxes sweat on the outside?
If you’re using it indoors to keep your lunch chilled, it won’t sweat. But it’s definitely possible in high heat and humidity conditions.
Is the shoulder strap for the Daytrip® Lunch Boxes sold separately?
Yes, the Daytrip™ Shoulder Strap is sold separately.
Is the Daytrip™ Shoulder Strap compatible with any other YETI® products?
The Daytrip™ Shoulder Strap is also compatible with the Daytrip® 6L Lunch Bag.
Are both Daytrip® Lunch Boxes leakproof?
The liner is leakproof, the zip closure is not. We recommend using our YETI® Ice Sheets to prevent any major leaks.
Are both Daytrip® Lunch Boxes waterproof?
Our lunch boxes are weather resistant and easy to clean. However, the zip closure is not waterproof so we do not recommend submerging it.
Are replacement zipper pulls available for the Daytrip® 3L and 5L Lunch Boxes?
Not at this time.
